I had to break the law to get these unforgettably awe-inspiring photos of a bunch of Great Cormorants in Dún Laoghaire so a bit of gratitude wouldn't go amiss, you ungrateful swine.
I stopped on my way to work to take a photo of this wee gull and accidentally stayed with him for about 15 minutes as he pecked at invisible morsels floating about where I was sitting.
Some local swans made some little bundles of grey fluff last week. The parents are unusually docile so I was able to walk right up to the swanlets and sit beside them. Nothing wrong with taking a break from a cycle home on a warm evening to hang around with these happy little fluffy cheeky chappies.
